A Batching Flex Operator 2 positively leads a Team in both Personal Safety and Food Safety, ensuring their team members adhere to the Company's policies and regulations. An Operator 2 is responsible for following the Refining Schedule, operating a variety of grinders, pumps, valves and other associated refining equipment which produce chocolate paste, including Quality checks to meet the specifications of products. An Operator 2 is also required to enter Daily data entries into SAP and excel work sheets. In addition, holding Team members accountable for positive housekeeping practices and accurate documentation. Location: Georgetown, ON Job Type: Full Time Shift available: M-F, 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM Flex shift M-Th 5:45pm-3:00am, Fri 6:45pm-11:00pm. Principal Accountabilities: Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), GMP's, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental programs.



Read Batching Schedule and communicate with the Operator 1 from the previous shift to determine the status of the grinding systems (Machinery problems change over status, availability of paste, special operating instructions, quality control issues, etc.) Communicate with the Operator 1 and Material Handlers to instruct and prioritize the daily tasks within the department Monitor grinding systems and quality control parameters and make adjustments to batches as necessary Record data as required on Batch sheets, SAP and excel work sheet. Complete End of Shift Report Contact Supervisor, Maintenance personnel, and issue Work Order(s) in the event of any mechanical or electrical problems with related equipment Perform changeovers, documenting quality testing as required Clean equipment and designated areas, as per the weekly and master cleaning schedules. Complete magnet and filter cleaning as required Use pallet handling equipment to move ingredients and materials as required after provided in-house training is completed Maintain all batching and warehouse areas in a neat and clean condition Properly
