What You’ll Be Doing

- Analyze and resolve daily incidents, billing exceptions, and defects to ensure seamless Meter-to-Cash workflows.
- Provide operational support for billing issues, device installation/removal, meter readings, and device management (DM) integration defects.
- Manage incidents related to data exchange processes, including IDoc processing, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
- Perform SAP IS-U configuration updates related to Billing and Device Management modules to optimize system performance.
- Develop functional specifications for WRICEF objects like billing reports, DM workflows, and Fabric pipelines.
- Conduct comprehensive testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) to validate end-to-end system functionality across platforms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation leveraging Microsoft Fabric tools such as Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Power BI embedded analytics.
- Analyze recurring issues to recommend automation solutions,



reducing manual effort and minimizing billing exceptions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience as an SAP IS-U Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong understanding of Billing and Device Management (DM) modules.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP IS-U billing processes, DMISU-Billing, and IDoc processing.
- Solid project management abilities with experience leading or supporting SAP projects.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process automation and optimization.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Power BI embedded analytics.
- Knowledge of utilities industry standards and billing operations.
- Experience with system integrations and data exchange protocols.

Preferred Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in SAP IS-U environments, especially within utility companies or related sectors.

Additional Requirements

- Ability to work on-site in Calgary, with flexibility for occasional travel if required.
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
