Community Living Trent Highlands is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to providing supports and services that promote the personal growth and community participation of people with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to inspire respect and equality for people with an intellectual disability by promoting community knowledge, organizational excellence and individual quality of life. The agency oversees services in Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough, running with an approximate annual budget of $20 million. Our staff complement currently sits at approximately 400 dedicated employees. An opportunity has arisen in our Agency for an individual to join our Scheduling Team in the role of:

Scheduler - (37.5 Hours/Week)

Temporary Contract Position in the non-bargaining unit

Annual Salary Range of: $56,316.00 – $59,182.50

Biweekly Salary range of: $2,166.00 - $2,276.25

Position to be based in Peterborough.

Days and Hours of Work are Monday - Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract required, as some driving may be necessary to our other offices.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, under the leadership of the Director. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:



staff scheduling for 24-hour supportive housing, positive communication with employees, documentation and maintenance of the scheduling system, electronic data entry within our Dayforce system and all administrative functions that apply.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

- Appropriate education and experience relevant to the position.
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel/Word/Outlook, Ceridian and/or scheduling softwares.
- A solid understanding of collective agreements, operations, and practices and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills is preferred.
