Greenland Garden Centre is hiring full-time & part-time Seasonal Christmas Tree Decorators & Customer Experience Associates to join our Christmas Floor Team.

As one of Canada’s largest Christmas stores, Greenland is known for its beautiful, inspiring displays and distinctive decorating style. Through our Trim the Tree Training, you’ll learn Greenland’s signature techniques and use your eye for colour, balance and detail to bring our established Christmas themes to life.

This is a fast-paced, physically active and customer-focused role. You’ll help create and maintain inspiring displays while assisting customers, sharing ideas and delivering the exceptional service Greenland is known for.

Previous skilled decorating experience is not required. We are looking for people with visual awareness, a willingness to learn, exceptional customer service skills and the energy to contribute to a busy seasonal environment.

What You’ll Do

- Decorate Christmas trees using Greenland’s signature method.
- Bring established Christmas themes and visual directions to life.
- Maintain trees and surrounding displays throughout the day.
- Restock and organize products while keeping the Christmas floor presentation ready.
- Help customers choose pieces that work together to create their desired holiday look.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized,



inspiring and welcoming Christmas store.

What to Expect Christmas at Greenland is exciting, fast-paced and hands-on. In this role, you will:

- Remain active and productive throughout your shift.
- Balance tree decorating, display maintenance and customer service.
- Work efficiently while maintaining Greenland’s visual standards.
- Respond as customer needs and floor priorities change.
- Bring consistent energy, reliability and teamwork throughout the season.

You’ll also participate in our Trim the Tree Training, where you’ll learn Greenland’s decorating techniques, Christmas themes, products and customer service approach.

Seasonal Availability and Commitment

This is a short but important season, and consistent attendance and availability are essential.

- Seasonal full-time and part-time positions are available.
- You must be available for at least three shifts per week.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
- Consistent availability is required from October through early December, with the possibility of continued work beyond that date as needed.
- Because November is our busiest Christmas period, time-off requests are limited to no more than two consecutive days.
