Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and proactive security measures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quick response are essential.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks

- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed

- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances

- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes





- Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and access control

- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols

- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is advantageous

- Robust observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly

- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour

- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
