What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced accountant to help service our clients. The ideal candidate would have experience completing Audit, Review and Compilation (Notie to Reader) engagements. Experience with Corporate tax and bookkeeping packages like Profile, Sage, and Quickbooks would also be an asset. Responsibilities will include:

· Completion and assistance with Audit, Review and Compilation engagements





· Preparation of T2 and T1 corporate tax returns

· Project management – take ownership of engagements to ensure that all work is completed and documented in accordance with prescribed standards

· Communicating with clients including providing management advice as a team member

· Complete other duties and activities as would be expected in a public accounting firm

Qualifications that would be an asset to the firm:

· 5+ years public practice experience

· CPA designation, University degree in business (accounting) or similar

· Previous experience with industry standard software (CaseWare, SAGE, QuickBooks)

· Ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

· Self motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
