We're looking for an experienced Senior Security Systems Technician who can confidently install, program, troubleshoot, and service commercial and residential security systems from start to finish.

You have extensive experience installing and servicing:

- Intrusion and burglar alarm systems
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Intercom and telephone entry systems
- Structured cabling and network-connected devices

You can take a commercial project from rough-in to final commissioning, including wiring, device installation, system programming, testing, and customer training. Customers trust you.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Install, service, and maintain commercial and residential security systems
- Program and troubleshoot alarm, access control, surveillance, and smart automation systems
- Configure and diagnose network-connected security devices
- Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and site plans
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training
- Provide remote and onsite technical support
- Participate in our rotating after-hours on-call schedule (approximately one week every six weeks)
- Collaborate with project managers, service coordinators, and fellow technicians to ensure successful project completion

What We're Looking For:





- 5+ years of experience in the electronic security industry
- Strong installation and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with systems such as:
- DSC
- Kantech
- Alarm.com
- Legend, Dahua, Axis, or similar platforms considered an asset
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP devices and router configuration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely on ladders and lifts
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay current with industry technology
- Ability to successfully complete a police background check
