Make an impact with our Indigenous ease Cloud Accounting Services team as a Manager. As a trusted advisor, you’ll use cutting-edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.
MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm for Indigenous Nations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Canada. With more than 270 Indigenous clients and 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities. Our clients include various First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities as well as Indigenous organizations and associations across the country. We support our clients with a wide range of accounting and consulting services, including remote accounting support, process improvement and capacity development.
Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations regarding full cycle cloud accounting engagements
Monitor quality of cloud accounting engagements and resolve any technology issues
Onboard new clients and build trusted advisor relationships by gaining in-depth understanding of their business objectives and needs
Support lead bookkeepers with managing their assigned teams, including workload allocation, ensuring that all procedures are carried out in an efficient and effective manner
Network in the local professional and business community while increasing awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
Recommend, implement and identify new ideas and approaches to improve work processes




Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
Develop, coach and train team members towards professional and personal development, by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews and support lead bookkeepers in the performance management
Maintain high team engagement and retention levels
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
6 years of accounting and bookkeeping related experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
Knowledge of Sage 300, Sage Intacct, Adagio, Xyntax, QBO or Xero considered an asset
Experience working with cloud-based software is preferred
Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills

The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills, relevant experience, certifications and location.
