Toyota Gatineau is looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong expertise in Toyota vehicles to join our Service team. We are specifically seeking a seasoned technician with 15 years of experience or more, who has completed Toyota technical training and has advanced expertise in electrical diagnostics, electronic systems, and hybrid/electrified vehicles. If you know Toyota vehicles inside and out and enjoy solving more complex technical issues, we want to meet you.

Your Role As a Senior Technician, your responsibilities will include: Performing advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics

- Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and complex technical issues
- Performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Toyota hybrid and electrified vehicles
- Completing repairs according to Toyota standards and procedures
- Using manufacturer diagnostic tools and software
- Performing required inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Accurately documenting completed work and recommendations on repair orders
- Collaborating with Service Advisors, the Shop Foreman, and other technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality work.

Qualifications 15 years of experience or more as an automotive technician
- Significant experience working with Toyota vehicles
- Completed Toyota technical training




- Advanced expertise in electrical and electronic diagnostics;

Experience with Toyota hybrid and electrified vehicles
- Required trade certification/licences
- Recognized automotive technician training
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must have your own tools
- Strong ability to work independently and solve complex problems
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and a strong team player.
