Senior Banking Vue.js Specialist Developer – Strong proficiency in Vue.js and building responsive web applications Position Title: Specialty Developer - Senior (Lead) Duration: 6 months In-Office Requirement: 5 times a month – Every Wednesday and third Friday 81 Bay Street The role is responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and providing enhancements to existing technologies. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth. The role collaborates with developers, architects and infrastructure specialists to gather requirements and conduct research to evaluate the application of new and emerging tools and techniques, identifying patterns and best practices to consider in technology proposals while anticipating long‑term business issues.

The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, developing project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology.

Responsibilities - Design and develop application programming activities, design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches, and lead cost‑effective and innovative solutions.

- Strategic planning:



develop multi‑year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals; lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
- Leadership skills: act as the mobile development team lead, run code‑review sessions with the wider team, and ensure the project is on track to meet goals; support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and problem‑solving.
- Demonstrate experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vuejs, Node, Objective‑C, Xcode, Android SDK, Swift, Web Services, XML, Subversion, and GIT. Being fluent in Object Oriented Design, JSON and RESTful web services, and having written unit tests and UI automation tests is an asset.
