Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to join an enterprise Identity and Access Management organization. This is a hands-on development role focused on building scalable Power BI reporting, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps solutions.

The successful candidate will develop executive and tactical dashboards, automate business processes, and build secure data solutions capable of supporting 130M+ records . Strong experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) and AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and VS Code is highly key.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven developer who can take ownership of solutions from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and applications .
- Build executive and tactical dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
- Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can access only the data appropriate to their roles.
- Develop and optimize Power BI solutions capable of handling 130M+ records and other large-scale datasets .
- Develop complex DAX measures and Power Query transformations .
- Design scalable data models using SQL and multiple enterprise data sources.
- Develop Power Automate workflows for personalized emails, mailbox processing, file routing, notifications, and other business processes.
- Automate communications with dynamic content and targeted audiences through email and Microsoft Teams.
- Build Power Apps for form-based data collection, user attestations, workflow management, and process automation.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, VS Code, and other AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, code review, troubleshooting, and delivery.
- Build reusable data structures and reporting components that support multiple Power BI solutions.




- Integrate and work with data from SQL, XML, XLSX, CSV, SharePoint, websites, and other sources .
- Develop solutions for ingesting, transforming, and managing large datasets while optimizing Power Platform performance.
- Translate business and security requirements into technical specifications and scalable Power Platform solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure dashboards and applications provide meaningful and actionable insights.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, data validation, and quality assurance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering data models, business logic, workflows, security, and development processes.
- Act as a Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps SME , providing guidance on development standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency and user experience.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 10+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Power BI
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- DAX
- Power Query
- SQL
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools , such as Microsoft Copilot and/or VS Code.
- Strong experience developing executive and tactical Power BI dashboards .
- Extensive experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based data access.
- Proven experience working with very large datasets, ideally 100M+ records .
- Strong SQL and data manipulation experience.
- Strong data modeling and Power BI performance optimization skills.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and formats, including SQL, XML, XLSX, CSV, SharePoint, and web-based data .
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, data management, and data optimization .




- Strong understanding of Power Platform development, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.

Recent Hands-On Experience

- Candidates must have recent, hands-on experience developing with Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform .
- Candidates who have been away from hands-on Power BI/Power Platform development for 2+ years may not be suitable for this role due to the rapidly evolving technology and tooling.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience working in environments subject to audit, compliance, or strict data governance .
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) , including identity lifecycle, privileged access, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with information security or risk-related reporting.
- Microsoft PL-300 certification .
