Multi-Grade, K-7 and Learning Support
Part‑time, continuing position. 41.7% FTE. Effective September 1st, 2026. Schedule to be determined in consultation with school administration.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Teach a wide variety of subjects and grade levels in multi‑grade elementary settings.

Deliver learning support to students requiring additional assistance.

Work effectively with First Nations communities and athletes in a rural setting.

Maintain basic classroom amenities.

Travel to and work within the rural area of Lac La Hache, BC, with reliable transportation for all‑weather highways.

Possess training and experience in teaching multi‑grades at the elementary level.

Have training and experience with learning support.

Hold a diploma in Special Education or have comparable experience and education.

Have experience working in geographically remote locations,



or relevant life experience living there.

Hold a valid BC Teaching Certification from the Teacher Regulation Branch.

Be legally eligible to work in Canada. This position is not eligible for an LMIA‑supported offer.

Salary & Allowances
The salary is based on our current salary grid and will be adjusted for your BC TQS and years of service from previous employers. The current salary range is $63,347.00 to $116,190.00 per annum, paid over 10 months and prorated to the FTE of the assignment.

Relocation allowance may be offered with this position.
