The Electrical Apprentice is a working field position that doubles as an assistant and extra set of hands for the branch Foreman and/or Electricians. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of electrical systems and EV Chargers Assist in the troubleshooting of system problems and help resolve electrical issues Equipment assembly and installation Project clean up including client site and installation vehicle Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforce safety practices and standards Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crew and branch co-workers Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of electrical installation and repair experience Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards Ability to perform all installation duties of the Installer and Lead Installer Willingness and ability to participate in the Power+ programs, which means you may be cross trained to perform comparable work in other departments or asked to perform work in other departments you're already skilled to support. Professional appearance and customer interaction Have a strong work ethic, high level of craftsmanship/workmanship with robust attention to detail Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Possess strong mechanical/construction skills Have excellent verbal communication and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
