Responsibilities

- Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- Be clearly identifiable to the public

Internship Opportunities and Training

- Expose interns to the practice of pharmacy in a community setting
- Enhance communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers
- Gain knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills
- Teach skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy
- Prepare future pharmacists to be successful in a community setting

Compensation

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche: $20.60 – $27.00 per hour. A candidate’s experience and knowledge as well as the geographical region in which the position is located may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
