Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a QA Automation Lead (Capital Markets/Wealth). This position involves leading the development and implementation of scalable automation frameworks within a dynamic asset management environment, focusing on transforming and integrating data hubs with multiple vendor systems.

Pay rate range (CAD): $75.00/hr – $85.00/hr

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with Python

Define and execute automation strategies for UI, API, and backend testing

Support scalable QA practices across multiple testing layers and platforms

Collaborate with manual testing teams and Business Analysts to enhance testing efficiency

Conduct data validation testing, including API, backend, and data hub verifications

Support integration testing across complex enterprise systems, including Databricks

Guide and mentor testing teams on automation best practices and troubleshooting

Participate in requirements analysis and provide testing insights for project delivery

Desired Skill-Set

Strong experience with Playwright using Python

Expertise in automation-first testing approaches and frameworks

Solid understanding of UI–API–DB workflows and enterprise platform integration





Hands‑on experience with API, backend, and data validation testing

Knowledge of testing data hubs and complex data environments

Ability to support and lead manual testing teams and collaborate closely with Business Analysts

Experience working within Capital Markets or Wealth Management technology environments

Nice to Have

Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms

Knowledge of contemporary asset management and client‑focused platforms

Familiarity with testing strategies for large‑scale enterprise data systems

Exposure to Agile or DevOps methodologies in testing processes
