- Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures, documentation, and best practices for desktop administration.
- Participate in the design and continuous improvement of the End-User Computing (EUC) strategy, including VDI roadmap and Citrix platform evolution.
- Stay current with emerging desktop and virtualization technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Support budget planning efforts by providing input on hardware, software licensing, and tooling needs.

- Solid experience with VDI platforms (Citrix, VMware Horizon, or equivalent) — design, administration, and performance tuning.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly PowerShell; experience with Python or other scripting languages is an asset.
- Experience with application packaging and software deployment (MSIX, App-V, SCCM/MECM, Intune, or equivalent tools).
- Proficiency in Active Directory administration - user accounts, group policies, OUs, and security settings relevant to desktop environments.
- Experience with endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager / Intune, or equivalent MDM/UEM solutions).
- Strong understanding of user profile management (FSLogix, Citrix Profile Management, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) as they relate to desktop and VDI connectivity.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles - endpoint hardening, patch management, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
