Area of Focus

As an Internal Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre‑owned vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards. You will complete detailed inspections, identify required repairs, and perform mechanical work to prepare vehicles for resale.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

- Complete pre‑owned vehicle inspections and reconditioning assessments




- Perform SGI inspections and identify required repairs
- Complete 180‑point inspections and quality checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across vehicle systems
- Perform mandatory repairs and maintenance required to prepare vehicles for resale
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle concernsEnsure completed work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate vehicle findings when required
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and consistency

Must‑haves

- 3–4 years of automotive technician experience preferred
- Completed second‑year apprenticeship training (minimum)
- Experience working on used vehicles, pre‑owned inspections, or reconditioning
- SGI inspection experience or certification an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic abilities
- Own mandatory tools
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and safe driving history
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and proactive approach
