We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Manager (H2R) to join our Oracle HCM team,
based in Burnaby, CA, reporting to the Senior Manager of IT. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the strategic interface between HR, IT, and the business, supporting our Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
You will be responsible for aligning business priorities with technology capabilities, ensuring effective support operations, and driving continuous improvement across HCM services.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
Act as the primary liaison between HR leadership, business stakeholders, and IT for all Oracle HCM Cloud support and enhancement activities
Own demand intake and backlog management, ensuring prioritization aligns with business value and strategic objectives
Also be involved in AI related projects for HR and IT
Translate business needs into technical requirements, partnering with delivery and support teams to ensure successful execution
Oversee support performance, including incident, problem, and service request management against SLAs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, automate workflows,
and enhance user experience
Internal
Produce status reports and analytics for the Leadership on team performance,
Ensure effective release and change management, including quarterly updates and business readiness
Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring accountability and service quality
Provide governance and reporting on backlog health, system performance, and alignment, and issue escalation
Champion adoption and value realization, ensuring the business maximizes ROI from HCM investments
Uses approved AI tools to improve the quality, speed, and effectiveness of work outputs while maintaining solid judgment and accountability.
Reviews, validates, and refines AI-generated outputs before use or distribution.
Adapts to evolving AI-enabled ways of working and continuously improves team practices through experimentation and learning.
Exercises sound judgment on when AI is appropriate and when human decision-making must take the lead, especially in sensitive or high-stakes situations.
