YLaw is a forward‑thinking, people‑first law firm located in Vancouver, and we’re excited to welcome a talented Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our team. If you have 1–2 years (or more) of family law experience and are looking for a firm that values the work you bring, your well‑being, and your career development, we would love to hear from you.

As a full‑time hybrid employee, you will work directly alongside two experienced family‑law lawyers, spending approximately three days in the office and two days working from home.

Responsibilities

Be community‑oriented, eager to give back and work with others while keeping the best interests of the entire group in mind.

Be extremely detail‑oriented and organized.

Be knowledgeable of BC Supreme Court and BC Provincial Court Rules, court forms, and litigation steps.

Leverage a minimum of 1–2 years of legal‑assistant or paralegal experience in litigation, preferably family law.

Be fun, communicative, and a team player.

Job Details

Job Type: Full‑time.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, hybrid (three days in office, two days from home).

Education: Secondary School (preferred).

Experience: 1–2 years as a legal assistant or paralegal (required).

Salary Range: $50,000 to $85,000+ (dependent on level of experience).
