Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Winnipeg, MB).
Will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on recent and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
External Qualifications and Competencies
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related equipment
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently including all documentation
Follow all safety procedures and perform work in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding repair status and findings
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
Support team goals by delivering reliable, on-time service

-This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
