At the Closures Technical Centre, located within Magna, students can apply for a 4 to 12-month co-op starting August 12, 2024. You'll be involved in software processes, automation systems, and compliance with design specifications for automotive products. This role also offers the chance to collaborate on global engineering activities and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of software and automation tools
• Support all stages of product design, from concept to testing
• Contribute to engineering analyses and compliance checks




• Develop tools to improve engineering efficiency
• Collaborate with global teams on product development efforts
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant engineering or Computer Science degree
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or C++
• Understanding of mechanical design and CAD processes
• Capable of working independently and in team settings
• Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus
