What you will require:
Education, Licenses & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma from CIDA accredited post‑secondary institute
AAA Intern Interior Designer (or in progress) is an asset
NCIDQ – IDFX and IDPX practicum exams (or in progress) is an asset
IDA/IDC Intern Member (or in progress) is an asset
LEED/WELL Accredited is an asset
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of working experience within the interior design industry on integrated projects, with references and portfolio
Role summary:



The senior interior designer leads interior design and/or integrated design projects, ensuring design continuity, advocacy, and leadership. They coordinate directly with team members, clients, consultants, and public authorities. The advanced senior interior designer will work on projects of various scales and collaborate with all project team members, providing support to the project lead as needed. They will work independently and project manage multiple projects and keep the project lead and supervisor updated on progress and issues as they arise.

Building components, construction methods and sequencing
Design and construction process
Contract documents and details
Specifications
Finish specifications and materials applications

Autodesk Revit, an asset
Autodesk AutoCAD, an asset
Microsoft Office Suite, an asset
InDesign, Sketch‑Up, Photoshop and other rendering software, an asset
