This position in our Claims Department is ideal for a professional with a robust background in forensic engineering. You will be responsible for investigating the cause of fire damage while applying scientific methods to validate findings. Your ability to communicate clearly and document your analysis will enhance the claims experience for policyholders and support effective dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough investigations of fire incidents
• Collaborate with adjusters and appraisers
• Document findings and express causal relationships
• Manage evidence specimens relevant to claims
• Create reports for wide-ranging audiences
Requirements:
• Minimum ten years of experience in forensic investigations
• Bachelor’s in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
• Eligibility for provincial engineering licensure
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
• Certification (CFI, CFEI, or similar) required
