The role involves overseeing the health, welfare, and management of a variety of animal species used in research and teaching. Responsibilities

Providing medical and surgical care for a range of species within the university’s research and teaching facilities

Developing and implementing animal health programs, preventive care protocols, and biosecurity standards

Collaborating with researchers, students, and technical teams to ensure ethical and compliant animal use

Managing veterinary and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency and effective communication
