Join Sechelt Hospital as it seeks dedicated Locum Hospitalists for both full-time and part-time roles. You will be responsible for the admission of patients through the Emergency Department, comprehensive patient evaluations, and urgent response calls. This position offers a chance to develop your skills within a supportive hospital team, with an on-call schedule approximately every three days.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide MRP medical services for acute care patients
• Admit patients to the hospital from the ED
• Perform daily comprehensive patient rounds
• Handle urgent, non-code patient calls effectively
• Participate in 1:3 on-call rotation with shifts of 5-7 days

Requirements:
• Current CPSBC license, full or provisional
• Completion of CCFP or equivalent family medicine training
• CMPA membership required
• ACLS or CARE Course completion mandatory
• Desire to integrate into an acute care team
