The Ideal Candidate
- An experienced Vena consultant with at least 5 years of hands-on implementation experience across the Vena platform.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Vena configurations.
- Advanced to expert proficiency in MS Excel, including experience with Excel-based modelling within Vena.
- Able to guide clients confidently through solution design decisions and drive consensus across stakeholder groups.
- Client-focused, with strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities across both business and technical domains.
- Experienced in managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A proven track record of successful Vena go-lives and high client satisfaction.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end Vena implementations, covering requirements gathering, solution design, build, unit testing, SIT, UAT support, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Configuring and customising the Vena platform to meet client-specific financial planning and reporting requirements.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a high standard of delivery and customer experience.
- Managing and nurturing strong, ongoing client relationships and providing continued support to existing accounts.
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development around the Vena platform.
- Supporting the onboarding and mentoring of more junior consultants where required.
- Managing multiple concurrent Vena implementations, ensuring successful go-lives each month.
Skills &
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience implementing Vena in a consulting or client-facing setting.
- Strong understanding of FP&A; processes, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting.
- Advanced to expert knowledge of MS Excel, including complex formulae, pivot tables, and data modelling.
- Experience with Vena template design, workflow configuration, and data integration.
- System integration experience and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Confident communication style with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working with enterprise clients in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with other CPM or EPM platforms is an advantage (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Prophix).
