Job Title: Senior Java Engineer (Kafka/API)

Location: Toronto/ Waterloo/ REMOTE (EST Hours)

Ideal Rate: $80- $85 (Based on Experience)

Must haves:

- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Reliability Clearance Required
- Solid experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, SOAP, and web services.
- Hands-on experience building microservices.
- Experience with Kafka or Kafka Streams.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Artifactory, or Ansible.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB .

Nice to Have

- AWS cloud experience.
- Okta and OAuth2 authentication.
- WebSphere, DB2, IBM ODM, ESB, or SonarQube.
- Experience within financial services or retirement/pension domains.
