For more information visitwww.Artemisgoldinc.Com.Reporting to the Development Supervisor – Mining, the Blaster Helper is responsible for assisting the lead blaster with all tasks related to handling, transporting & loading explosives as well as occasionally assisting dewatering and pit utility crews.Location: Blackwater Mine siteSchedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off RotationEmployment Type: PermanentResponsibilitiesAssist the Blaster with the preparation, loading, and firing of production and development blastsTransport, handle, and stage explosives and blasting accessories in accordance with applicable regulations and company proceduresPrepare blast holes for loading, including cleaning and measuring holes as requiredHelp establish and maintain blast exclusion zones, signage, and security during blasting activitiesSupport the safe storage, inventory, and documentation of explosives and blasting materialsMaintain blasting equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean and serviceable conditionWork closely with Drill Operators, Mine Operations, and other departments to ensure blasting activities are completed safely and efficientlyFollow all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in safety meetings,
