Join Vaco/Highspring’s client as a Senior Manager, Accounting in the Greater Toronto Area. Lead the full-cycle accounting team with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This temporary role with the potential for permanence seeks an experienced accounting leader with a robust technical background.

You'll manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with ASPE/IFRS, while collaborating with FP&A; and external auditors. Mentorship of a growing team and process improvement are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Own full-cycle accounting including payroll and intercompany transactions
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and tax filings
- Implement reconciliation standards and monitor compliance
- Lead the accounting team in best practices and process enhancement Requirements:
- CPA designation required
- 7-10 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience with multiple entities preferred
