The Business Development Specialist – Temporary Power & Special Projects is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities related to temporary power solutions and specialized electrical projects. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding project requirements, and delivering tailored solutions across construction, industrial, commercial, and event sectors.

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Specialist – Temporary Power & Special Projects is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities related to temporary power solutions and specialized electrical projects. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding project requirements, and delivering tailored solutions across construction, industrial, commercial, and event sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in temporary power, emergency power, and special electrical projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, project managers, engineers, and key decision-makers
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure successful execution of projects
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM systems
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Support tendering processes, including RFPs and RFQs




- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in electrical, construction, or industrial sectors)
- Strong understanding of temporary power systems or willingness to learn quickly
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications (preferred)
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed

SALARY RANGE

- $110,000 - $120,000 Base + Commission
