Senior

Manager, Portfolio & Product Optimization is responsible for driving the strategic direction, planning and optimization of the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) cash management product portfolio across BNS’s North American and International business footprint. They will be involved in the implementation of portfolio growth tactics, execution of key strategic initiatives, financial planning and forecasting and the delivery of key operational and regulatory reporting. This includes working with stakeholders across the bank to drive growth opportunities and generate alignment amongst key decision makers.

Provide strategic insight and thought leadership to advance GTB’s agenda and support informed decision‑making at the senior leadership level. Drive portfolio profitability by analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and developing recommendations across the GTB product suite.



Partner with stakeholders across the Bank to align priorities, execute strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with executive audiences.

Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives, recommending enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities. Analyze client trends to articulate drivers of financial performance. Develop data‑driven, scenario‑based models and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic direction.

Research, analyze, and synthesize market trends, competitive intelligence, leading practices, and business data to support strategic planning. Monitor product performance through key metrics, market trends, competitive scans, and revenue opportunity assessments. Embed the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture into day‑to‑day activities, ensuring sound risk‑based decision‑making.

Ensure strong operational controls and governance within the team, meeting obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk in alignment with Bank frameworks and guidelines. Build and lead high‑performing teams by fostering an inclusive environment, providing coaching, development, and clear direction, and supporting succession and workforce planning. Support continuous team development by providing training, resources, feedback, and career growth opportunities. able to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities,
