A typical day on the job might look like:

- Supporting all GEMTEC locations across Atlantic Canada, including travelling as needed.
- Preparing engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost‑effective design solutions.
- Reviewing drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
- Supporting construction administration activities,



including site inspections and responding to contractor’s inquiries.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans.
- Communicating with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff as needed.
- Office‑based design and project management with site visits to projects as required.

Your background and what you bring:

- Registered or eligible for registration with APEGNB
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, including municipal and infrastructure design
- Proven experience in project management, including budget, schedule, and client coordination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual in French and English
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for work‑related travel
