Duties & Responsibilities Our pilots are leaders who work collaboratively with other team members to achieve organizational goals and meet our Flying Refined service standards. We value our environment of communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with each other.
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
Minimum 4500 hours total time with the following breakdown: 1000 hours total time transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 Airline Operations
500 hours PIC on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 Airline Operations
Recent airline flying experience within the last 24 months
English language proficiency ICAO level 5+
The following are considered an asset: Previous autothrottle and/or generation 4 aircraft experience
Previous ratings/experience on E170 type variants
Previous CARs 705 Airline Operations training and checking experience
Aviation College or University Degree
Must possess the legal ability to work in Canada. This requires a current, valid Canadian Passport, or a current, valid International Passport with a valid US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D)
Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors determined by the Flight Operations Management team
