Join a dedicated multidisciplinary team as a Renal Nurse specializing in hemodialysis. Provide compassionate care and support to patients experiencing chronic and acute renal failure.
This role requires a registered nurse with BC College certification and recent hemodialysis experience. You will assess, plan, and implement care for patients, forming therapeutic relationships with them and their families. Your expertise will help facilitate informed choices and support self-care for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care for renal failure patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on patient needs
• Educate patients and families about treatment options
• Assess, plan,
and evaluate patient care strategies
• Operate medical equipment for hemodialysis treatments
Requirements:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Hemodialysis experience within last 5 years
• Solid communication and analytical skills
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
