As a Registered Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will report to the Manager of Renal Services. Your primary focus will be on providing essential nursing care to patients facing chronic and acute kidney conditions. Establish therapeutic relationships through thorough assessments of patient needs, ensuring effective communication and support with families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for kidney disease patients
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team
• Assess and evaluate care needs for renal patients
• Educate patients and families on self-care strategies
• Prioritize and organize patient workload efficiently
Requirements:
• Current BC RN registration required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary
• Recent nephrology nursing experience preferred
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care
