Our Ideal Candidate As a Geomatics Technician, you will support survey and engineering projects by processing data, performing calculations, and assisting with deliverables. You are detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working both independently and with a team.
A Day in the Life Draft survey plans and perform calculations using Civil 3D
Perform survey calculations for foundations, roadworks, and grading projects, including alignment, profile,



and corridor analysis to support construction layout and execution
Generate surfaces and volume calculations
Process and interpret different type of survey data using Trimble Business Center
Perform quality control checks on field returns
Assist field crews and prepare reports (stakeout, as‑builts)
Support UAV / LiDAR data processing as needed
Support engineering layout and construction surveys
What You’ll Bring to the Team Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant survey/geomatics experience
Experience with Trimble Business Centre (TBC)
Proficiency in Civil 3D
Strong understanding of construction survey practices
Good communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
