Goudy transport is a thriving family owned company, operating primarily in the southeast Saskatchewan oilfield. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Stoughton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of various types of heavy machinery, live in/around Stoughton, willing to relocate or reliable commute. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem solving skills and excellent time management.

Duties

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including Semi trucks, trailers, and other related equipment.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.

Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs to maintain equipment functionality.

Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.





Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

Experience in inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of heavy duty trucks and trailers.

Strong background in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.

Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management and colleagues.

Experience with fluid handling equipment such as tankers, pumps(T&E;), etc is an asset.

Class 1 license an asset.
