Senior Insurance Advisor

Responsibilities

Promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help grow our presence and profile in the local community.

Serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members.

Deliver exceptional client service while representing Westland Insurance professionally across phone, email, and in‑person interactions.

Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines to ensure the right coverage and protection.

Manage current business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail.

Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow‑up communication.

Identify sales opportunities for cross‑selling and up‑selling products to contribute to business growth.

Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day‑to‑day operations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience, supported by a Level 2 License and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided).

Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling more complex client needs,



with the ability to provide tailored coverage recommendations.

Proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and identify opportunities to grow and retain business.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to team success.

Professional, solutions‑focused, and an effective communicator who demonstrates sound judgment and integrity in every client interaction.
