The Sprott School of Business is currently seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor role in Accounting. Your responsibility will include delivering courses to both undergraduate and graduate students while supervising graduate research. Contributing to curriculum development and maintaining an active research agenda will also be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting
• Supervise Master’s and Doctoral student research
• Conduct innovative and externally funded research
• Engage in curriculum and program development
• Participate in faculty committees and academic life
Requirements:
• PhD in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated research capability or potential
• Commitment to excellent teaching practices
• Required CPA designation for qualified credibility
• Experience advocating for diversity and inclusion in the field
