Role Description The Logistics Operations Specialist is a full-time role based in Toronto Area, Canada,

This role coordinates daily transportation activities, including scheduling shipments, monitoring delivery status, and communicating with carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time performance. The specialist manages logistics documentation, updates systems with accurate shipment details.

Responsibilities include resolving operational issues, responding to customer inquiries, and collaborating with supply chain partners to improve service levels and cost efficiency. The role also involves analyzing logistics data, preparing reports,



and contributing to process improvements that enhance overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven Customer Service and Communication abilities for managing client expectations, handling inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Transportation Management, including carrier coordination, routing, and delivery tracking.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, covering warehousing, inventory flow, and end-to-end logistics processes.
- Comfort with logistics and office software (e.g., TMS, WMS, spreadsheets) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with North American transportation regulations and cross-border shipping requirements is an asset.
- Collaborate with onsite teams, and operate with minimal supervisio.
