Google Product Specialist
As a Google 1P Product Specialist, you will be responsible for directly interacting with consumers to drive sales of Google Pixel devices and all first‑party Google hardware and smart home products within a designated Best Buy location. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the Google Shop's appearance, building relationships with Best Buy leadership and RSAs, and promoting Google products effectively.

Responsibilities

Engage with consumers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Google products

Drive sales of Google Pixel devices and all first‑party Google hardware and smart home products

Maintain the Google Shop's appearance, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with the latest products

Build strong relationships with Best Buy leadership and RSAs to foster collaboration and support for Google products

Promote Google products effectively and train Best Buy RSAs on how to sell Google 1P products

Gain insights and track sales trends to understand market dynamics and identify opportunities for improvement

Share sales data and insights with headquarters to inform strategic decision‑making

Complete before and after shift reporting

Coach retail associates on opportunities with consumer interactions, recognize positive performance and hold associates accountable for poor performance

Inspire and engage retail associates by motivating them to succeed





Partner with management and other appropriate parties to successfully launch new products, services and processes and to review staffing forecast plan

Adhere to the merchandising standards

Instill a sense of pride and ownership in space appearance – where all associates understand the space is the face of the brand to every consumer

Drive compliance of procedures and policies

Support management needs

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Sales/consumer service experience in a retail environment, preferably for hi‑tech /consumer electronics

Experience delivering training sessions and motivating teams in the telecommunications or consumer services industry

Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of Google products and the ability to effectively communicate their features and benefits

Ability to motivate team

Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Work with associates to elevate skills and performance, providing coaching on opportunities for improvement

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills
