Northumberland Ferries Limited is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to enhance operational readiness at our Charlottetown office. This full-time, permanent role focuses on strategic workforce management and compliance.

In this managerial position, you will collaborate with diverse operational teams to ensure efficient workforce planning and scheduling across both Northumberland Ferries and Bay Ferries. You will report to the Director, People & Culture while leading initiatives that support staffing adequacy and training compliance for essential marine services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee workforce planning and scheduling coordination
• Conduct thorough staffing gap analyses
• Coordinate training and compliance initiatives




• Support operational transitions and projects
• Facilitate recruitment and workforce development efforts

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 5–7 years of relevant operational experience
• Experience in a unionized setting preferred
• Leadership experience in workforce management is a plus
• Robust skills in scheduling and HR systems
