Be a part of Aecon as a Dry Utility Modeler located in Toronto, ON. This role will engage in creating and maintaining 3D models for various essential utility infrastructures.

As a key player in the Utility Design team, you will support projects like the Hamilton LRT by developing precise 3D models of dry utility infrastructure, including telecommunications and street lighting systems. This position involves collaboration with multiple teams, ensuring that models meet design requirements and are free of clashes. You’ll also extract essential documentation from your models to guide construction activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed 3D models for dry utility infrastructure
• Convert and integrate 2D drawings and existing utility records




• Engage in combined model development for coordination
• Conduct model reviews and constructability assessments
• Maintain data integrity and quality throughout modeling

Requirements:
• Diploma or related degree in Engineering Technology
• 2-5+ years in utility design and CAD/BIM modeling
• Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, Revit is an asset
• Robust attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively
