In this role based in Toronto, you'll play a crucial role in launching creative rehabilitation solutions at Sidekick. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work alongside the Industrial Designer and Product Manager to convert ideas into production-ready designs while facilitating hands-on prototype evaluations. Your expertise in CAD and manufacturing processes will ensure our products exceed user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate industrial design concepts into detailed CAD models
• Execute tolerance stack-up and clearance assessments




• Ensure manufacturability through various processes
• Conduct FEA for design validation
• Work with partners to solve production challenges
Requirements:
• Proficient in CAD with a DFM mindset
• Experience in injection molding and machining constraints
• Knowledge of materials and costs in product design
• Experience designing mechanisms like linkages or pulleys
• Able to work asynchronously in product development
