We have an exciting opportunity in our Vancouver office for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist . Using your Revit skills, you will work under the supervision of the Job Captain or Project Manager, perform a variety of production tasks to prepare documents needed to take a building from original concept to completion. Contribute toward the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages through coordination with team members and consultants.
What you’ll be doing at Kasian:
Develop and prepare Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
Develop and prepare Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
Assist the Contract Administrator
Prepare graphics and presentation drawings
Take mentorship and guidance from more experienced production team members
Assist in performing code and bylaw analysis
Assist in the coordination of consultants
Assist in the performance of Quality Control procedures
Research and compile construction materials
Assist in the printing, assembly, circulation, and filing of project documents
Assist the Job Captain with general DD and CD duties
What you bring to Kasian:
A minimum of five years of experience as an architectural technologist
An Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree
Experience working on projects in a variety of sectors – High-Rise Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Senior Living
Proficiency in construction documentation, including envelope detailing
Fluency with Revit
A solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes
A passion for accuracy
A collaborative and flexible approach

Salary starts at $75,000+ per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, and skill set.
