Position: Detectives and Criminal Investigators
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $20 – $75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Assess crime scenes, collect evidence, and ensure proper preservation protocols.
Document statements from victims, witnesses, and suspects using digital tools.
Maintain accurate investigational records and prepare detailed reports.
Utilize databases and digital platforms for case and evidence management.
Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models for investigative workflows.
Perform digital image analysis and reconstruction for crime scene documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine AI-driven investigation systems.
Requirements
Strong experience in criminal investigation and evidence handling procedures.
Proficiency with NCIC database and digital crime scene management tools.
Robust experience using databases such as Microsoft Access and MySQL.
Familiarity with digital imaging and graphics tools for forensic analysis.
Knowledge of GIS tools such as ESRI ArcView for mapping and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
