Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities And Job Duties

Performing underground mining activities in a safe and efficient manner

Operating underground mobile equipment and/or hand‑held tools as required

Installing ground support and following ground control procedures

Drilling, blasting, mucking, and hauling material as assigned

Completing development and/or production tasks according to mine plans





Conducting pre‑operational equipment inspections and reporting deficiencies

Maintaining a clean and organized work area underground

Complying with all company policies, procedures, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations

Qualifications And Experience

Previous underground mining experience in one or more of the listed roles is considered an asset

Valid common core modules for underground mining

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to safely operate underground mining equipment relevant to the role

Strong understanding of underground safety practices and procedures

Physically capable of performing manual labor in an underground environment

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Willingness to work rotating shifts in a remote camp environment

Working Conditions / Schedule
Location: Eagle River Mine, near Wawa, ON

Shift / Hours of Work: 10‑hour shifts

Schedule / Rotation: 10/11

Type of Hire: Permanent, full‑time
