Mission Specialist, Land C5ISR
General Dynamics Mission Systems‑Canada in Calgary is seeking an experienced Mission Specialist to join our LandC5ISR team. This role leverages military operational knowledge to drive customer relations, provide mentorship, support system integration, and deliver actionable insights through detailed field reports.

Job Description
As a Mission Specialist you will be responsible for:

Utilizing operational expertise to ensure end‑user requirements are accurately captured, communicated, and prioritized.

Leveraging military knowledge in customer relations and collaboration with engineering and integration teams.

Providing mentorship and guidance to users, both in classroom and field environments, ensuring proficiency with our systems.

Reporting system‑related problems across all aspects of functionality, hardware, software, firmware, operating manuals, training, and usage.

Composing detailed written reports identifying observations from the field, including baseline delivery, equipment performance, procedures, and training effectiveness.

Gathering ongoing feedback from the field, recommending system enhancements and training updates as needed.

Supporting integration activities such as communication system testing, field trials, and user experience events.

Delivering in‑person presentations to provide status updates and attending planning sessions with internal teams and customers.

How We Work

Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Hybrid – mix of onsite and work from home

Travel required for customer sites

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of military experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills





Ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships

Solid problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team

Flexibility to travel as required

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada and must meet all Canadian Government security clearance requirements.

Salary
$80,000 – $95,000 CAD annual.
