Requirements

What will make you an Ideal Candidate?

Experience with ArcGIS software
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Highly productive in a combination of in-office and work-from-home environments
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities—working independently and as a team player
Having above average Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Your Responsibilities:

Effectively create maps and digitize polygons in a team effort to meet company and client needs




Collaborate with other GIS Specialists on multi-client, multi-state mapping projects
Utilize ESRI ArcGIS and Pandell software to convert text-only legal descriptions, surveys, and plats into digitized polygons
Meet client-specific predetermined standards and project goals
Occasionally work with the Land Records department to separate and organize scanned documents based on clients’ standards

Your Experience:

This is an entry-level position
Preferred bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field

Other Skills/Experience We Value:

Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration with the GIS and Land Records services teams
Knowledge of basic land principles and property descriptions
Curiosity and the drive to challenge yourself
