Senior Python Developer

Mississauga, Ontario Canada

Fulltime/permanent

Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite per week

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while implementing automation, monitoring, logging, and application observability practices.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, architects, and other technology teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and secure code while following established coding standards, security practices, and enterprise governance requirements.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing,



and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Strong skilled experience in Python development.

- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and SQL.
- Experience working with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and software development best practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, solutions, or integrations is a strong plus.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
